This song reminds me that when we’re at our wits end, like I’ve been on many occasions, God has that amazing ability to step in and save the day so that the glory can be all of His. He has the ability to extol God appropriately, singing from a depth of experience that we can relate to. Travis Greene’s songs are awesome, way awesome, to me.
Standing here, not knowing how we’ll get through this test Again, another gentle reminder that God is dependable and there’s nothing too difficult for Him. I heard this song during Shiloh 2016, and it served as a source of encouragement for me during the trying period that came after. There is nothing too difficult for You (Sebi Iwo lo f’oju orun sa’aso bora) Oh! It kindles my faith every time I hear it, reminding me that, indeed, nothing is impossible for God to do. And it was performed in church today again. Maybe it’s the upbeat tune or the powerful expression of unwavering faith in God, but this song has been playing in my head for a while now. Having said that, what are my currently loved 10 songs? In no particular order, maybe except for number one, here they are. And even though I don’t seek them, when I listen, they have a way of connecting with me. I mostly listen to popular songs - mostly gospel as you’ll find - as I hear them. But, I don’t seek them as a primary source of motivation. And I was thinking, “like how do you know all these people?” No doubt music can be uplifting and can pass messages to your spirit, to encourage you when you’re down, to inspire you, to cheer you up and energize you. I told a colleague of mine this and she was absolutely incredulous, like how is that possible. I didn’t even know who Aretha Franklin was until she passed - may her soul rest in peace. I mean, I listen to music often but I don’t go out of my way to find out about new releases, or trending songs, or albums, or musicians… that kinda thing. Well, to be frank, I don’t really consider myself a music person.
